Rose ball
I have been drooling at all the rose rose balls out there in blog land for months. I finally did one myself. I used the tutorial from one of my favorite blogs I follow, http://houseofsmiths.blogspot.com/
Thank you to Shelley for your help on this. I seriously think she has one of the best DIY projects around, and not to mention her husband has the same name as my sweet son...Cason!
So as you can see the supplies are few....one roll of crepe paper (dollar store) and a Styrofoam ball (hobby lobby..50% off) hot glue gun and sticks...and well, HAVE to have a bag of OREO's...but purely optional..oh and it helps to be watching dancing with the stars as I roll up my roses...here is MY version of the rose ball...I plan on making lots more.

Christmas pictures
I love love love Christmas time, it's my favorite as well as my hubby! It is the day our savior was born and we celebrate all month. He even takes vacation from Thanksgiving until the first week of January...yea, you can say we celebrate big time. The nutcracker is always in the mix and always shared with close friends. Date nights is also a must and so very needed. There is not much I stress about during this time, that is except one thing.....ooohhh the dreaded Christmas picture and getting them out on time!!! Thankfully we don't search around a whole lot because we just log on to shutterfly every year and download our picture to the site. That's it, we let them take car of the rest! They will even send them for you....whoo hoo! I just don't have time to mess around. My favorite card shutterfly has done for us was 3 years ago when we did several pictures all on the same card. We got some sweet comments from all our family that was able to see several different pictures. It chronicled our "year in review" sort of speak. I also love the fact that I can write so much in the card that details whatever I choose to say. It is basically a photo album with a letter as well, ,but not the same old letter each year...check it out for yourself. http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/christmas-photo-cards . You will love all the options they have to offer and the price point is a huge plus! I will be getting mine soon and will post it when I am done. Send me yours as well! Can't wait to see them all!
